At the eve of the belgian national holiday on the 21th of July, the belgian ambassy in Tallinn organised a classical music concert for the occassion of the belgian presidency of the European Union. In the name of this presidency Estonia was symbolicaly invated as 17th member of the eurozone. Almost 400 visitors attended to this unique concert, amongst which, as guest honor, the Estonian Prime Minister Andrus Ansip. The programm presented music from belgian composers, conducted by a belgian conductor and played by belgian soloist, aswell work of the Estonian composer Tõnis Kõrvits, present in the Hall.
For this occassion a grand-grandchild of Lodewijk Mortelmans had specially made the travel.
